After their unforgettable evening in Singapore, Natasha and Patrick found themselves once again separated by work and distance. Patrick flew to France for an important project. His days were consumed by meetings and site inspections, leaving little time to rest — or to call.

Still, every few days, short messages reached Natasha.
Patrick:
“Miss you, always.”
“Listen to ‘Until I Found You’ tonight — let it speak for me.” 🎶

Natasha read each message with a tender smile, pressing her phone to her chest.
Natasha:
“Beautiful song. Thank you. I miss you too.”
Patrick:
“Promise you won’t forget me.”
Natasha:
“I never will, no matter where you are.”
🌌 Conversations with Silence
That night in Singapore, Natasha sat by her window, the curtain swaying in the soft breeze. The city lights glowed outside as she played the song he had sent. The voice and melody wrapped around her heart like an embrace.
She whispered to the night sky:
“If only he were here…”
🏢 Patrick in France
Patrick worked tirelessly, surrounded by figures, charts, and endless discussions. Yet his thoughts always strayed to Natasha. In quiet moments, he opened his phone just to see her picture.
Hidden in his suitcase was a small box — earrings, a necklace, and a heart-shaped ring. A gift he longed to give her on their one-month anniversary.
✈️ A New Assignment: Japan
Just as he prepared to return, his company sent him to Kyoto, Japan, for a new project. There, he would work with his old friend Venice, who managed electrical systems, and Daisy — Natasha’s friend, now an interior designer in Japan.
Kyoto greeted him with temples glowing in the sun, bamboo forests swaying, and narrow streets filled with green tea and fresh mochi. Yet beneath the beauty was unease:
“Seismic alerts issued. Prepare for possible earthquakes.”
⚡ When the Earth Trembled
One afternoon, while Patrick supervised repairs on the 5th floor of an old building, the ground shook violently.
“Earthquake! Get out now!” someone shouted.
Patrick ran for the stairs but tripped on broken debris. Before he could stand—
CRASH!
A heavy beam collapsed onto his shoulder and chest. He gasped, blood staining his shirt.
“Patrick is trapped in an old building shaken by the earthquake, as beams and debris collapse around him. He struggles desperately to survive.”
“Help…” his voice faint, swallowed by the roar of crumbling walls.
Venice, arriving at the site, shouted desperately:
“Patrick! Where are you?!”
It took an hour to find him under the rubble. Patrick was unconscious, pinned by shattered wood and nails.
💔 Natasha in Singapore
That same evening, Natasha sat with a cup of peppermint tea by her window. The city was calm — yet her heart raced with unease.
Suddenly, breaking news flashed across the TV:
“Japan struck by magnitude 7.5 earthquake. Buildings collapsed. Kyoto among the affected cities.”
“Natasha sits in shock in Singapore as she watches the news of the devastating earthquake in Japan where Patrick is.”
The screen showed the very site Patrick was working on. Natasha’s hands trembled. Tears blurred her eyes.
“Patrick…” she whispered, voice breaking.
🕊️ A Truth That Couldn’t Stay Hidden
Daisy, who had witnessed Patrick’s condition at the hospital, could no longer keep it from Natasha. She called, her voice shaking.
“Natasha… I have to tell you. Patrick was injured in the earthquake. He’s in the hospital.”
Natasha dropped everything. Within hours she was at the airport, her passport in hand, booking the earliest flight to Japan.
